i ran again on the treadmill tonight and did a little upper body weight lifting. i ran the first mile in 9:40, the second through third in 9:14 minutes per mile and the last mile in 10 minutes. this is the first exercise i have done all week. monday i felt bad all day, even after getting nearly 12 hours of sleep the night before. tuesday i felt a little better. i got to the gym and did not have a shirt and was really hungry. i headed to the drive through and then home. i am a little behind this week, but think i can get my runs and maybe a few other things in.
thought of the day: the cold is getting old. i am not sure how i am going to make the transition from treadmill to road. i like being able to watch a movie while i am running, even though it is dangerous. tonight i only stepped on the front of the machine and nearly fell once, it was during a funny part of the movie and i was anticipating it and then whoa, hands on the treadmill and trying not to fall. it is going to be hard to make the transition, but i think i can do it.
