i did a 6 mile tempo run last night. i ran the first mile at a 10min/mile pace. then i did pushed it to 7:30 min mile for 1/2 a mile, 8, 8:30, 9, and 9:30 paces for a tenth of a mile each. then another mile at 10 min mile pace. after that i pushed to 7 min mile and worked back for each tenth of a mile. i finished the 6 miles in 56:20, a 9:23 pace. this was my fastest pace for 6 miles i the last year, maybe ever. i got most of my workouts done this week, except for my yoga, core and lower body workout.
