Alright this is the second day i have been blogging and it is kind of liberating. Not really, but I did get up this morning and run for 20 minutes (with my weight vest on) so i would have something to write about. i had planned to do crunches, push-ups and leg-lifts afterwards, but of course i got up a little too late. so what i need is more followers to push me a little. and if anyone whats to call me at 6am that would help too!
Also, i saw todl today that i has smoe grammatical errors in my frist blog. sorry, i will try to proof better form now on, i just don't read so well.
so, you got what i did this morning and you can add shooting my bow 24 times, push mowing and weed eating for a while to yesterday too.
another thing i am doing now is some walk for health contest. basically i have a pedometer and i am trying to take more steps in the next month (i think) than all the other people competing. so far i think i am doing ok since i have been running daily. keep cheering for me on that one too.
not sure if i will be exercising any more tonight since i am on call and i am going to try and make it to cheeseburger charlies to listen to the church band, i will keep you posted.
ok, finally, the thought for the day. my mom always told me if i couldn't say something nice about someone i should not say it at all. i think that holds up most of the time, a couple of times i have had to tell a colleague some negative things when they called me about a reference (i always try to add the positives as well) and there might be some other instances that are exceptions. however, i will reiterate what my mom told me when i was a kid but tweak it a little and add a little country slang: If you aren't going to say something nice about someone (job references excluded)....shup. (parenthesized words are my addition and if you haven't figured it out shup is short for shut up(per K.T.)).
